    Saudi Arabia has begun building works on the 3rd path at King Salman International Flight terminal, noting a major turning point in the expansion of Riyadh’s future air travel center and strengthening the airport’s preparedness to support long-term development in air traffic demand.

    King Salman International Airport, a Public Investment Fund firm, claimed the 3rd path is a core part of the airport terminal’s master plan and mirrors continued progress in airfield development.

    The job is being delivered in collaboration with FCC Construcción SA and Al-Mabani General Professionals Firm.

    The runway has been made in alignment with Riyadh’s dominating wind patterns to make certain secure and efficient airplane operations under all operating problems.

    King Salman International Flight terminal’s present operational capacity stands at 65 airplane activities per hour.

    Located on the existing website of King Khalid International Airport, the growth will incorporate the existing King Khalid terminals together with three brand-new terminals, residential and leisure assets, 6 runways, and devoted logistics centers.

    Covering 57 square kilometres, the airport is developed to suit approximately 100 million passengers each year and deal with greater than 2 million tonnes of cargo by 2030
