Saudi Arabia has taken an additional step towards next-generation mobility with the General Authority of Civil Aeronautics (GACA) signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with US-based Archer Aeronautics to establish and operate air taxi services across the Kingdom.
Announced during the CoMotion Global Summit 2025, held at Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial Area (KAFD), the agreement positions the Kingdom to end up being a leading center for innovative air flexibility (AAM), sustained by emerging modern technologies and global criteria.
