Dubai Town has released the “Smart Municipality Eye” campaign, an innovative aerial monitoring system that utilizes unmanned aerial automobiles (UAVs) outfitted with artificial intelligence (AI) to boost environmental and urban sustainability across the emirate.
The system allows real-time tracking of 52 million square metres of environment-friendly spaces, assessing vegetation wellness, identifying irrigation and parasite issues, and anticipating possible issues prior to they occur.
By incorporating AI-powered data analysis, the initiative sustains predictive maintenance, ensuring the durability and long-lasting sustainability of Dubai’s eco-friendly facilities.
AI and drone innovation
In support of the campaign, Dubai Community signed a Memorandum of Recognizing (MoU) with Eanan Al Samma for Remote-Controlled Aircraft Manufacturing.
The arrangement enhances collaboration in establishing and releasing cutting-edge drone modern technologies and advanced AI options for municipal, area, and inspection procedures, strengthening Dubai’s environmental and city sustainability goals.
Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director-General of Dubai District , and Rashid Hamdan container Khadim Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Eanan Al Samma, authorized the MoU throughout Urban Future Week at the Museum of the Future.
Urban Future Week brings together neighborhood and global experts and decision-makers to explore the future of metropolitan preparation and enhance cities’ readiness for emerging difficulties.
